{ Perfect Model Kaitlyn }
I just love my job! Honestly, look who I got to spend some time with - Sweet two-year-old Kaitlyn!
This beautiful little love was just the perfect model. We took the portraits in my studio. Kaitlyn wore an adorable black & white toile dress and I found… napkins as the background – could you even tell?
Kaitlyn’s Mom found me after I promoted my Easter Mini-Sessions. We kept the theme of Kaitlyn’s Minnie Mouse Birthday Party with zebra printed decorative hangings.
We also captured a special snuggle toy in Kaitlyn’s life – her blanket – so sweet.
I thought the session had gone really well and always hope that my clients feel the same way. I was so excited when I received this email from Kaitlyn’s Mom, “Just had the chance to view the pictures – just one word – Gorgeous. I am so thrilled with them!” Makes my heart melt!!! www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Sweet Bralyn is One! }
The truth is that sweet Bralyn has had a rough year with a bunch of medical issues involving eating, but what a long way she has come!!
I was so excited when her Mom called me for Bralyn’s one year portraits, especially since I knew this was going to be a custom session. Bralyn’s Mom is extremely talented; she crochets and made the outfits and the tutu for Bralyn.
It was so much fun to stylize her session, especially since the theme was cupcakes. I made a banner out of… colored napkins – an inexpensive way to make a session or banner unique. Bralyn’s Mom values really good portraits, so we knew that we had a perfect match – especially with all the options I have for ordering elegant and quality portraits.
Bralyn was cleared to dive into the cake that her Mom brought and we knew she was having fun, but didn't realize just how much until we tried to take the cake away and she screamed!
The cherry onto of the “cake” for me was when I was able to snap a few portraits of Bralyn with her Mom. We Moms are always behind the camera; it is so important to document time with our children. www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Edie is ONE! }
I cannot even believe
that Edie is already one!!! And those
beautiful eyes have continued to be the most beautiful, expressive eyes I have
ever seen on a child!
It seems like just
yesterday she was a newborn and we had started taking her portraits for the
fabulous plan her parents purchased, “First Year Moments”. In this plan, Edie’s family purchased
portraits of her as a newborn, at 6 months, 9 months and a 1 year cake smash
session.
For the "First Year
Moments" plan, they will receive an 8x10 linen portrait from each session,
all the digital images on a flash drive or CD and at the end of the year they will
choose between a custom designed 10 x 20 storyboard with their favorite images
from the year or a custom image box with 10 of their favorite images mounted on
a linen textured board, which comes complete with an easel.
If you are looking for a great deal and the most
beautiful way to capture your all those “first moments” in your child’s first
year of life, then give me a call to discuss the “First Year Moments”
Collection, which can be purchased for $1200 and can be broken into 4
installments of $300 each session. www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Sweet Sophia and Precious Memories }
I mean really… how much
more adorable can you get than sweet little Sophia. What a sweetheart!
This fabulous family was referred to me to have portraits taken of their first child and what a fun time we had together.
I love being able to incorporate the parents into a newborn session – from touching moments together to lovely memories captured as parents soak up the beautiful new life they have been blessed with… one of my most favorite sessions!!
And this new studio has really come in handy for me and my clients. We do not have to worry about the weather or time of the year, especially when it comes to photographing a newborn. Special thanks to Ashley DeYoung for the referral! www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Ella's Cake Smash Session }
Ok, I admit it… I LOVE
one-year-old portrait sessions, specifically the “Cake Smash Session”!!
I know it is partly the anticipation of what a one-year-old will do with a HUGE cake in front of them and I swear listening to parents encouraging their children to devour the cake gets me laughing every time.
When Ella joined me in my studio for her “Cake Smash Session”, I knew we would have a blast! Ella is the granddaughter of one of the secretaries at my children’s school and the whole family is just as sweet as can be!
Ella’s Mom brought some things to the session and spoke to me about her ideas so that I was also able to help customize the session to have the portraits come out as they were hoping they would. And sweet Ella didn't disappoint!
With pink frosting all over her face, she was a hoot! It is always so much fun working with clients who are looking for unique portraits. www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Pinterest Ideas and an Adorable Session }
The Naggar Family is such a
wonderful family.
Dr. Naggar is one of the pediatricians in the group where we bring our children and I was so excited to take her son's portraits.
What a great thing it was that we had my warm, cozy studio to retreat to because it was cold and chilly outside during their portrait session.
One of the best parts of the session was the ideas Dr. Naggar sent to me from a search on Pinterest! I love when my clients send me their cute ideas!
You can follow me on Pinterest to see some ideas I have started pinning! www.Pinterest.com/MBPhotographySC. Also visit my website www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Sweet 6-Month-Old Riley }
Riley turned
6-months-old in November and I was so excited to see this sweet cherub again
since her family purchased my baby plan, the “First Year Moments”
Collection.
With this collection, I
captured Riley as a newborn and will see her again at 9 months and as a
one-year-old!
I love 6-month-olds – being
able to sit up on their own is such an accomplishment and makes for some
fabulous portraits!
Riley's Mom was
great because she sent me photo texts of the outfits she had planned for
Riley's portrait session.
I was able to
be creative before the session started.
I always advise clients to select 2-3 outfits and to keep them simple. Add pop with hats or props –
those items are always so much fun!! www.MaryBethsPhotography.info
