I
was really touched when I took sweet baby Riley’s portraits. Her Dad
is in the military and has been deployed to Afghanistan for a year.
Nicole called me to capture Riley and her husband Ryan before his
deployment. What a sweet, beautiful family and what a touching moment
looking through my camera at them.
Nicole and Ryan decided to purchase
my Baby Plan called “First Year Moments” - a fantastic way to capture
your child’s amazing first year of life. It includes a newborn session,
3 months, 6 months and a one year. Nicole brought a sweet hat with
Riley’s name on it and I was able to use a cute new hat I had recently
purchased. Thank you to Ryan for your service to defend freedom and
thank you to all our troops for protecting us. www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Sydney's Outfit Changes }
Sydney is 9 months old… I just can’t believe it! What a fantastic portrait session, complete with a trunk full of different clothes! Sydney’s Mom always comes well prepared with fabulous outfits and a vision of exactly what she is looking for out of her portrait session.
What a wonderful time we had together and I can’t wait to watch Sydney grow! www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Sweet Ella is Six Months Old! }
Sweet Ella and her family joined me for a Family Portrait Session at Living History Park one summer evening and what a beautiful night! I met Ella’s family through the secretary at my children’s school, Cathey Ferrell.
Ella is Cathey’s granddaughter and what a cutie-pie. A special thanks to Cathey, who came along for the portrait session and was able to help me get Ella to smile. With Family Portrait Sessions, families receive individual portraits, along with the whole family. Thank you to Marianne and RC for spending the evening with me! www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ The Pruett Family and Their Smiles }
Melanie Pruett and I met when she
was Brenna’s teacher at First Baptist Preschool! What a beautiful family and so
full of energy!! Melanie, her husband
Sam and their daughters Olivia and Mia joined me at Hammond’s Ferry for a fun
portrait session.
Olivia and Mia were
just so very silly and would just giggle, giggle, giggle. I had to enlist the help of an old trusted
friend… the whoopee cushion… to get collective smiles on command and my good
buddy didn’t let me down! I just loved watching
the girls read their books – I can’t help it – this just warmed the former
teacher in me! www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ A Well-Prepared Seider Family }
I cannot believe that it has been
so long since this FABULOUS portrait session.
Back in May, the Seider Family, Keely, Charles, Kailyn and Cooper joined
me in Hammond’s Ferry on a beautiful evening.
We used the burgundy couch as part of the session and… if I do say…
didn’t it look fabulous??!!?? Keely and
her family are repeat clients and Kailyn and my little “mini-me” Brenna are
good buddies, so this was such a fun session for me.
Keely came prepared with coordinated outfits
AND a vision for what she wanted in her home.
She purchased nine 8x10 portraits to frame in her hallway. I just LOVE IT when my customers come with a
plan on where they are going to put portraits in their home. And if you need some assistance, I will come
to your home (with a special little treat) for a custom home viewing
session. We can work together to figure
out where is best to place your new, beautiful portraits. www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Lovebug Skylar }
I
just love portrait sessions with Skylar.
Since she was born, I have been fortunate enough to capture such important milestones in her life and this session was no different.
This very active one-year-old is as cute as a button. We met at Brick Pond Park and were able to visit different parts of the park, which was important, because this little lovebug is walking and always on the go.
Thanks, Skylar, for making my day and my job so easy! www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ Jamie and Craig - A Wedding to Remember }
I mean, really, could you get any cuter than Jamie and Craig? They got married on the land of her future house, she wore cowboy boots, they used sparklers.... seriously... so stinkin’ cute!
Jamie and Craig were referred to me by a previous wedding client, Shannon and Jamie booked the wedding at the January Bridal Show I attended, which guaranteed her a free 10x20 storyboard.
The only problem is... what picture should they choose? There wasn’t a bad portrait in the bunch - these wonderful people are beautiful both on the inside and outside.
With the unique knowledge and assistance of my second shooter, Michelle Williams of mywilliamsphoto.com, we were able to try some fabulous lighting techniques.
Thank you Jamie and Craig for letting me share in your special day. www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

Living History Park and the Stalvey Family
I can’t believe how much Living History Park in North Augusta amazes me
every time I go there - this picturesque park is home to streams, bridges and
an open grass field.
Even though it does require a reservation, it is
worth it, because it is a photographer’s dream outdoor shooting location.
I was so excited to meet Layne, Chad and their daughter, Noah at Living
History Park one beautiful evening! And what a delightful family.
Noah is such a sweet little girl who was just all smiles! Look at
all the ways we used the park to capture this beautiful family. www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

Seniors 2012 - Alyssa and Mekayla
Ya’ll know how I feel about people’s eyes -
they always tell me a story, especially from behind my camera. When I am
hired to do Senior Portraits, I find myself transported back to that time in my
life - a time of uncertainty, excitement and adventure! I was so excited
to spend such a fabulous time with two beautiful young women who graduated in
May, Mekayla and Alyssa, taking their
Senior Portraits.
Mekayla’s Mom is a hair designer where I get my hair done and my stylist/friend Keely referred her. We did two sessions for Mekayla, a recent Fox Creek High School graduate, an outdoor one at The Stewart House and a cap and gown at Hammond’s Ferry. Mekayla is just gorgeous.
Alyssa, a recent North Augusta High School graduate and a future USC-Aiken attendee, also had two super fun sessions that spanned two seasons. Alyssa had an outdoor Fall session and an indoor Spring session. Isn’t she just so beautiful?!?
Mekayla and Alyssa each received 25 custom-designed announcements
that really stood out from the crowd. And now you can too! Book
your senior portrait session with me and receive 25 unique, custom-designed
senior announcement cards and a 5x7!

{ A Texas Move Lands A New Client }
When Gina Maice called, I couldn’t believe her story! She and her husband, who is in the military and stationed at Fort Gordon in Augusta, had recently moved from Texas.
Their daughter, Aubri will be such a joy in their lives! I always feel so honored to work with the men and women who defend freedom everyday – thank you Gina and Michael for all your sacrifices. www.MaryBethsPhotography.info
Through an Internet search, Gina found me. Gina said that my style was very similar to the style of her favorite photographer in Texas.
Gina and her husband, Michael, visited me in my neighborhood and we used my red couch to take some beautiful portraits to capture Gina’s pregnancy!

{ A Beautiful Four Month Old }
I just love when my clients have outfits ready for portrait sessions that are so cute and stylish!
Sydney’s Mom took it the next step and sent me a picture message on my phone of the outfits so that I could prepare the appropriate backgrounds. I think the preparation and planning helped to make our session move along very nicely.
Four months is a tough age to capture smiles and interaction, but the camera loved Sydney’s sweet face. Isn’t she so sweet!?! I love the portraits of her in the basket – like she is the best little treat! www.MaryBethsPhotography.info
