{ Thompson Engagement - A Very Special Couple }

Yesterday, I told you about someone who literally built my dream with his two hands, Stuart Thompson.

I was so excited when he shared with me that he was going to pop the question to his girlfriend and even more excited when he and his fiancé Britney booked me for their wedding!

We were scheduled to meet at a beautiful Peach Orchard to take their engagement photos – what a unique location – however, the orchard got pruned right before our session, so Stuart and Britney called asking if I had another idea for an outdoorsy, rustic area.

I love that I know the area so well and am able to help accommodate my clients.  One quick call and we landed at the Stewart House.  What a fun couple.  We had such a good time.

Britney had texted me pictures of the outfits they were wearing for the session, so I was able to plan out the session and optimize their time!  This was seriously one of the best engagement sessions I have ever had – it was very relaxed, the weather was perfect, the lighting was incredible.  Britney and Stuart were so fun to be with and willing to try anything – even with their truck and dog!   www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ David and Megan - A Perfect Match }

I still cannot believe that I was able to be part of David’s proposal to Megan!

I met the soon-to-be “engaged couple” in Columbia so that David could propose to Megan at the USC Gamecock Stadium.

I was already on the field when David brought Megan to “throw around the football”.  When Megan caught the football, David had printed, “Will you marry me?”  She said, “YES”!  And I was able to capture every second of this special occasion!!

It lead me to create this video to showcase their special moment!   This was something I had always wanted to be a part of and I was so thankful to share it with them!  www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

{ An Engagement to Remember } Kellyann and Nicholas

A fun visit with Kellyann and Nicholas for their engagement session brought us to downtown Augusta!

What a fun couple who were willing to try anything!

I loved that Kellyann had done a little “portrait search” on her own and had some creative ideas of how to capture this adorable couple.

A funny moment behind the scenes was when I realized that my towering 5 foot stature was no contest for Nicholas’ 6 foot stature.  Thank goodness for ladders and my steady hand.  We were able to capture some very sweet moments between this adorable couple!  www.MaryBethsPhotography.info

Capturing Wedding Day Memories

Fun, fun, fun and hot are the words I would use to describe Van and Shannon's wedding!

In true Southern fashion, Van and Shannon's wedding day weather was blazing hot, but thankfully, and also in true Southern fashion, the tea was cold!  Their wedding took place at Hopeland Gardens and their reception was held at the Rye Patch.

With an outdoor ceremony and an indoor/outdoor reception, we were all very happy that it wasn't raining!  And I was so happy to have such beautiful locations for some creative pictures.

I couldn't help but feel the tears in my eyes when I saw the Remembrance/Memorial chair for Shannon's Dad.  He passed away suddenly when she was younger.  It was a beautiful tribute to a very special person.

Shannon and Van, thank you for letting me be part of your special day!  www.MaryBethsPhotography.info
